Fast Reliable Service

Despite being OME equipment, shockingly few dealerships carry the Continental tires I have on my Buick. I got an irreparable flat and this dealer was the only one who has the part. What’s more is they got me in last minute and even squeezed in the scheduled service on my vehicle. Service advisor was courteous and knowledgeable. Will for sure be switching to this dealership for future maintenance needs.

One of the best car purchasing experiences I have ever had. Gio was fantastic communicating with me. I had to drive over 100 miles to the dealership and before I committed to that drive I wanted to make sure everything was in order. Gio provided me the out the door price, so there would be no surprises when i arrived. He took me for a great test drive and explained all the features the GMC Sierra 1500 SLT had. You'd be shocked how many reps fail to do this. Again, a fantastic experience with Cavender GMC.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cavender Buick GMC while attempting to purchase a 2016 Yukon XL Denali. After confirming the vehicle was available, I placed a deposit, completed financing paperwork, arranged a third-party inspection, and drove approximately an hour to the dealership. Upon arrival, I was informed that another customer's hold on the vehicle had not actually expired and that the vehicle was still being sold to them. Unfortunately, making this trip caused me to miss my son's graduation ceremony, which is something I cannot get back. While my deposit was refunded, Sales Manager Miguel told me he would help locate a comparable vehicle and follow up with me in writing. Despite waiting more than a month, I never received the promised email, any vehicle leads, or meaningful follow-up communication. After escalating my concerns, General Sales Manager Santiago Sanchez responded, apologized for the situation, and stated in writing that Cavender would continue searching for a replacement vehicle and work with me on pricing. Despite those assurances, I never received any vehicle leads or further follow-up from the dealership. Mistakes happen, but allowing a customer to place a deposit, complete financing, coordinate an inspection, and travel to the dealership before discovering the vehicle was unavailable was extremely frustrating. The lack of follow-through afterward made the experience even worse. I hope Cavender improves its inventory management, communication, and customer follow-through so future customers do not experience the same situation.

We were very upside down on our trade in, but he was able to get us to the monthly payment and the exact truck we wanted. What a wild ride. Everything started normal, I’ve been hunting for a specific car and specific spec for 6+ months. One day it popped up online as available with no pictures and said coming soon. I called as fast as I could. I was told it needed two tires and a new windshield so we wouldn’t be able to drive it but I could come look at it. I was greeted by Giovanni Barba upon entering the dealership. He broke some news about the actual condition of the car, which was odd but okay. Someone actually stabbed out the tires and windshield cracked clear across. Looks like it had just got back from a road trip and full of trash/crumbs and hair ties. Not a retail ready car. So at this point it feels weird, no one has an answer to how it happened. It clearly happened there as the car was not even drivable. In my head this was just another time I waste my valueable time at a dealership and we live across town. For context, I grew up around the industry and I know the games they usually play. I also have bought and sold at least 15 vehicles, so i’m no stranger to buying a car even though I look young lol. Sorry I can’t change my appearance and look older? 🤷‍♂️😂Me and wife have 800+ pristine credit scores and 6 figure income so being approved for it was not a question. Giovanni calls me up and says the car can be test drove now that it got new tires, NICE! I show up again and front end still is plastered in bugs and interior still messy. My car i brought as a trade in was literally cleaner inside and out then this car that is supposed to be ready for sale initially, why else post it online? Again no big deal I can clean it myself if need be. I’m very clean and organized so that was a let down and bad 2nd impression. I noticed the car also had 6k more miles than the listing. The carfax also stopped at same mileage they posted car so it was another odd thing. I asked where the 6,000 miles came from and while Giovanni was trying to find an answer one of my clients had an issue I needed to address. Great now I got this happening while we try to get an answer to miles. For some reason I couldn’t get phone reception so I asked for the WiFi password at the front desk. Daphne then points at a sign with the information. The WiFi kept not connecting and even walking outside I could get no service. I told Daphne and she seemed so bothered by me asking ( mind you I’m the only person there ) and told me they’ve had WiFi issues for over a week and proceeds to do whatever she is doing. No option to use a phone or help me get service. I felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously and I was a paying customer. I literally walked out and she didn’t try to stop me just glanced at me and I said “ bye I guess “ I thought that was the last time I saw them or the car. 1 star experience. Giovanni finally came to conclusion he can’t find an answer and texted asking where I was. I told him that his “ team “ did not help me one bit when I had an issue with my company. He apologized and I agreed to come again. I was ready to pay full asking price if the car was not damaged but I still didn’t like how I had to leave to fix my issue. I did have some small concerns such as alignment and Giovanni assured me it would be fixed. Everything seemed good so I sent my mechanic to look and he said it had no major issues. Now things are getting exciting and just need the small things fixed. Within 24 hours Giovanni got the car ready and had all the documents ready to purchase. Me and my wife got there and sure enough Giovanni had it ready so we just had to sign paperwork. They gave me a fair value for our trade in. Thanks! Alignment and weird noise gone. We were in and out within 45 mins. This now felt like a 5 star experience. Thank you Giovanni for turning a 1 star into a 5 star experience by going above and beyond by working with my schedule and addressing all my little needs. The car is amazing once it got fully detailed. We are such a happy family and look forward to many road trips and experiences. Thank you Giovanni and cavender for making my dream a reality.

Great overall experience, I will definitely return for my next purchase

We were wary of buying from a dealer after our last vehicle purchase. However, Hind Abdallah was amazing. We happened to find a Yukon XL, and with her help, were able to get first dibs on it soon as all inspection work was done on it. I don’t remember the finance guy we worked with, but he was awesome as well. Buying from here was very straightforward and easy. There was one issue on the Yukon once we got home, but they took care of it also.

I got in the car drove around with us heard what we heard and immediately went to work. Found the issue that we had our car back just a few few days later. I love the vehicle I bought, but my experience was really soured by the fact that they went back on their word. In the deal, the sales team said that they would include a high-quality detailing of the vehicle; they then decided that they wouldn’t deliver on that, and that the best they could do was give me a voucher to the Wash Tub so I could get a car wash. So now I get to pay out of pocket to get the upholstery cleaned and other stains cleaned. Also, another part of the agreement that we came to, and which I had in writing, was that I would get 3 “vouchers” to get oil changes at employee discounts. That wasn’t true. So of the 3 things that I got them to include in the deal, I got one, that being a second key fob (which should always be included in my opinion, but I digress). Overall, everybody was pretty nice, it was just frustrating that they didn’t completely deliver on their word. So pretty much a typical dealership experience.

Sam is the best service agent, he was prompt to help me when I arrived, he did not hesitate in assisting and he was very honest about the time line just for the diagnostics. So far nothing but good to speak of this dealership. Would be nice if all my filters were in the program but one can only wish. But as of now I trust this dealership and we have a mercedes so as long as they treat us like mercedes we should be happy especially when our truck cost 6figures. He did his HARDEST to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted, he worked numbers, he went above and beyond and not only did he do that but he took my credit and life into consideration. He wasn’t just a man trying to make a sale and some money he was a person with integrity and honesty and I respect that so much more! If I ever wanted to recommend anyone to a dealership it would be this cavender all because of JJ!

Everyone from the beginning of the whole car-buying process was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. I’ve never purchased a GMC vehicle before, and never from Canvenders, but this experience was so much better and easier than with the other dealerships I’ve dealt with in the past.

4 stars for the dealership, without any fluff: they were able to work with us and sold us an awesome vehicle at a fair price. 5 stars for our sales associate Ms. Hind Abdallah. She was personable and did her best showing us the car we wanted, but found us the car we ended up getting. Do yourself a favor and ask for her specifically. She will go out of her way to make sure you are taken care of.
